Forbes List

When I read the Forbes list of skills that recruiters look for, the first trait that jumped out at me was, “Ambitious.” I have always had big dreams and aspirations. Anything I have done I have tried to be the best at. I certainly have not achieved that goal, but it does not stop me from trying. Even though I am just a student intern at GCW, I still imagine myself one day being a project manager or even an executive. I would not be content with myself just staying one of the lower level jobs, like many of my coworkers do. I know it is easier to just stay where one is and not work harder and take on the responsibility of being a boss, but nothing worthwhile is easy. I do not want an easy life, that sounds extremely boring. I never want to stop growing and becoming better. That also probably lends to me being a very competitive person. I always dream big and set small goals that lead to huge goals for myself, so I think ambition is a strong trait of mine.
